The famous ‘Goosnargh’ Duck can be tasted at many top restaurants throughout the country including Heathcotes. It is produced in the neighbouring village of Goosnargh.

   The ducks are reared on feedstuffs which are free from chemicals and growth promoters.

   Bowland has long been renowed for it’s sporting tradition producing the finest game from fast flying grouse off the heather moorland to partridge off the high pastures adjacent and wonderful high flying wild pheasants from the steep sided wooded valleys.
